We collect various personal data whenever you visit this website. Personal data is data that can be used to personally identify you. This data privacy statement details what data we collect and what it is used for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We would like to point out that transmitting data online (e.g. when communicating via email) is prone to security gaps. Seamless data protection against unauthorised access by third parties is therefore not possible.
Revoking your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke your prior consent at any time with future effect. An informal notification via email making this request is sufficient. Data processing based on your consent continues to be legal until a revocation of your consent is received.
Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
In case of data protection law violations, the data subjects is entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the state data protection commissioner of the German state in which our company has its registered office. Right to data portability
You have the right to have the data that we automatically process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request that your data be transmitted directly to another responsible party, then this will only be done to the technically feasible extent.
SSL and/or TLS encryption
This website uses SSL and/or TLS encryption on individual or all sub-pages for security purposes as well as to protect the transmission of confidential content such as orders or queries you send us as the website operator. You can detect an encrypted connection whenever your browser’s address line changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and a lock icon appears in your browser’s address bar.
Whenever SSL and/or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on our website
Most of the cookies that we use are known as ‘session cookies’. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website.
However, you can adjust your browser’s settings to receive information about cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude cookies for certain cases or generally, and you can activate the automatic deletion of cookies whenever you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Cookies that are necessary for electronic communication or for providing certain functions requested by you (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored based on Article 6 Paragraph 1(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure that it is able to provide its services for the technically sound and optimised provision of its services. Whenever other cookies (e.g. cookies that analyse your browsing behaviour) are stored, then these are treated separately in this data privacy statement.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which are sent to us automatically by your browser. These include:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not combined with other data sources.
The legal basis for the collection of this data is Article 6 Paragraph 1(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically sound presentation and optimisation of its website, which requires server log files to be collected. Server log files are periodically deleted after seven (7) days. In the case of suspected crimes, illegal use or misuse, server log files may be stored for a longer period for extended analysis and to enact protective measures.
Whenever you send us a query using our contact form or via email, we will then store your information, including the contact details you provide us, for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up questions. We will not disclose your data without your consent.
Data entered in the contact form or provided via email is therefore exclusively processed with your consent (Article 6 Paragraph 1(a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time by sending us an informal email. Revoking your consent has no bearing on the legality of data that was processed before you revoked your consent.
We will store the data you have provided in the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or if there is no longer any reason for storing that data (e.g. after we have finished processing your query). Mandatory statutory provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Analytical tools and third-party provider tools
This website currently does not use any analytical tools or plugins for analysing personal data (user tracking).
This website does not use third-party tools or plugins used to transmit data to third parties.
On our web pages, we embed map services that are not stored on our servers. In order to ensure that calling up our web pages with embedded map services does not automatically lead to reloading of third-party content, we only display locally stored preview images of the maps in a first step. This does not provide the third party provider with any information.
Contents of the third-party provider are only loaded after clicking on the thumbnail. The third-party provider receives the information that you have called up our site as well as the usage data that is technically required in this context. We have no influence on further data processing by the third-party provider. By clicking on the thumbnail, you give us your consent to reload the contents from the third-party provider.
Embedding is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Page 1 Letter a of the EU GDPR, provided you have given your prior consent by clicking on the thumbnail.
6. Data processing
We share your data with service providers that support us in operating our websites and conducting related processes as part of order processing as per Article 28 of the EU GDPR. These are, for example, hosting service providers. Our service providers are strictly bound by instructions to us and are correspondingly contractually obliged.
In the following, we shall name the data processors that we work with, insofar as we have not already done so in the above text of the data privacy statement. Should data be transferred outside the EU or the EEA in this context, we shall provide information on the appropriate level of data protection.
