2. General information and mandatory information

Data protection

The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially in accordance with both the statutory data protection provisions and this Privacy Notice.

If you use this website, we will collect various personal data. Personal data is data that makes it possible to personally identify you. This Privacy Notice details what data we collect and what it is used for. It also explains how this is done and for what purpose.
We would point out that sending data online (e.g. communication via email) may involve security vulnerabilities. It is therefore not possible to guarantee complete protection of data from access by third parties.

Revoking your consent to data processing

Many data processing activities are only possible with your explicit consent. You may revoke consent you have already granted at any time by sending us an informal email. Revoking your consent has no bearing on the legality of the data processing that took place before you revoked your consent.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of a breach of data protection law, data subjects are entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for issues relating to data protection is the state data protection officer for the German state in which our company has its registered office. A list of authorized data protection officers and their contact details can be found under the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have the data that we automatically process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request that your data be sent directly to another data controller, this will only be done where this is technically feasible.

SSL and/or TLS encryption

This page uses SSL and/or TLS encryption on individual or all sub-pages for security purposes as well as to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or queries you send us as the website operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection because your browser’s address bar will switch from “http://” to “https://” and a lock symbol will appear.
If SSL and/or TLS encryption is activated, you are able to send us data in a way that prevents third parties from reading it.

4. Data collection on our website

Cookies

Our website sometimes uses cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies that we use are known as “session cookies.” They are automatically erased after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you erase them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.
However, you can adjust your browser’s settings in such a way that you are informed about the use of cookies and you only permit the acceptance of cookies on an individual basis or in certain cases; alternatively, you may adjust these settings to generally block or automatically erase cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website, however.
Cookies that are necessary for electronic communication processes or the provision of certain functions you have requested (e.g. shopping cart) are stored based on Article 6 Paragraph 1(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure that it is able to provide its services in an error-free and technically optimized manner. Where other cookies (e.g. cookies that analyze your browsing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this Privacy Notice.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which are sent to us automatically by your browser. These include:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources.
The legal basis for the collection of this data is Article 6 Paragraph 1(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the error-free presentation and optimization of its website, which requires server log files to be collected. Server log files are regularly erased after seven (7) days. In the case of suspected crimes, illegal use or misuse, server log files may be stored for a longer period for extended analysis and to enact protective measures.

Contact form/email

If you send us a query using our contact form or via email, we will store your information, including the contact details you provide us, in order to process your request and for follow-up questions. We will not disclose your data without your consent.
Data entered in the contact form or provided via email is therefore exclusively processed with your consent (Article 6 Paragraph 1(a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time by sending us an informal email. Revoking your consent has no bearing on the legality of the data processing that took place before you revoked your consent.
We will store the data you provided in the contact form until you request its erasure, revoke your consent for its storage, or if there is no longer any reason for storing that data (e.g. after we have finished processing your query). This does not affect any mandatory statutory provisions, particularly retention periods.

5. Analytical tools and third-party provider tools

This website currently does not use any analytical tools or plugins to analyze personal data (user tracking).
It does not use tools or plugins offered by third-party providers used to send data to third parties.
